GYMBEAST OLYMPIC RUBBER COATED BUMPER PLATE are suitable for use in Olympic lifting, Powerlifting, Crossfit and other heavy-use environments. These are our entry-level Olympic bumper plates but that doesn't mean we've compromised on performance by any means.

About the Olympic Bumper Plates

Since these bumpers are designed to distribute impact force throughout the plate they are suitable for Olympic weightlifting and being dropped from overhead. We do recommend this is only done on platforms or suitably constructed flooring. With this bumper plate set, we wanted to create a product that performs over time and heavy use but is a cost-effective choice for gyms buying in high volumes.

All Black Design

The simple and clean black design is ideal for the busy gym environment and looks great even after long periods of wear. We've gone for an unbranded design on these because, at the end of the day, your gym's brand is more important than that on your equipment. 

Olympic Weightlifting Tested

We have rigorously tested our bumpers in a variety of high use commercial gym environments and we're confident in the ability of these plates to withstand the repeated drops of CrossFit and Olympic weightlifting training. We do include a 5kg plate within this set but advise against dropping it to the ground. Not only is the bounce of the narrowest plate unpredictable, generally a 5kg plate is too narrow to withstand dropping.
